Truffle is the most noble and prized product of the hills surrounding Brisighella. The "tartufai" (truffleseekers) are skillful searchers of this precious gift of the ground.

During the sagra customers can buy the typical tuber in two different kinds: the "autumn white" - with its distinctive intense scent - and the "black truffle", less expensive but with a reasonably good quality. In the restaurants it's also possible to taste the finest recipes prepared with truffle by skilled chefs.
